Grenoble is the capital of Isère in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Located at the foot of the mountains, between the Drac and the Isère, the city offers its visitors a beautiful setting, especially in winter when the landscape is covered with snow. The city is full of treasures to discover.

A city rich in heritage

The Notre-Dame de Grenoble cathedral is a rather atypical building. Where Gothic style buildings proudly stand, Grenoble's cathedral has a Roman architecture. Mentioned since the 10th century, the construction of the cathedral complex only began in the 13th century. It communicates with the Saint-Hugues church by an interior passage. During a walk in the streets of the city, you will stop for a while on the Grenette square at the edge of the big fountain called the Lavalette water tower, you will take the Saint-Jean footbridge and you will also admire the Saint-Jean fountain.
